Screening of movie, "Fix It," followed by speakers and discussion
The US healthcare system is broken. Join members of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Poughkeepsie Social Justice Committee and the Dutchess County Progressive Action Alliance for a screening of "Fix It" and learn how you can help. "Fix It" is a powerful 50 minute documentary which takes an in-depth look into the damaging effects of our current healthcare system on the health of our citizens and the economy and makes the case for a move to a single-payer healthcare system. After the movie, there will be a panel with local activists and healthcare professions. Learn how we can make single-payer healthcare a reality in New York State.
