New York Would Save $45 Billion with Single Payer Health Care!
A 2015 study by Gerald Friedman, PhD, Chair of UMass Amherst Economics Department, documents $45 billion net savings to families, businesses, and taxpayers if the New York Health Act is implemented. The study details that 98% of households would pay less for health care than they do now and 200,000 jobs would be created. Click here to read the study!
